1. Participation
You agree that you are solely responsible for your actions and safety as provided elsewhere in these terms and conditions, Ometria is not responsible for any injury or illness that You may suffer as a result of Your participation in the Event, unless caused by Our negligence.

2. We shall be under no liability to You in respect of any actions, claims, losses (including consequential losses), costs or expenses whatsoever which may be brought against or suffered or incurred by You, as the result of the Event being abandoned, cancelled or suspended in whole or in part by reason of pandemic, war, fire, national emergency, labour dispute, strike, lock-out, civil disturbance, inevitable accident, the non-availability of the venue or any other cause not within Our control.

3. Rights in Materials
All copyright and other rights (including all intellectual property rights) in materials provided to You during or for the purposes of the Event (including, without limitation, course notes, slides, brochures, articles or case studies) are Our property or of Our speakers. You are entitled to use such materials only for Your own personal use. You are not entitled to copy such materials (except as permitted by law) nor are You entitled to use or authorise others to use such materials for any commercial purposes. All Our materials state a copyright mark ‘© Ometria 2023’.

4. Images and publicity
4.1 All Event sessions will be recorded. By taking part at the Event, you grant Ometria exclusive permission to record, photograph, film or video your attendance at the Event and/or film, video and record comments you make to Us or the Media Partners for the purposes of recording the Event, for reporting on the Event and using such media as is made by Us or our Media Partners for Our marketing purposes, which includes printed documents or media, editorial coverage, advertising press and use on the Internet.
4.2 If You do not wish for Your image/voice to be used in the manner described in clause 4.1 You must inform Us before the Event by email to lifecycle@ometria.com including a photograph of Yourself that we can pass on to our Media Partners.
4.3 We own all rights (including all intellectual property rights) in any material produced by Us or on Our behalf (without incurring any costs to You) at the Event and You shall obtain no rights in relation to the same.

5. Our Liability
5.1 We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property save for any damage caused by Our negligence in which circumstances Our liability shall be limited to the amount of Our insurance for such losses.
5.2 We will not be responsible to You or any third party for any business loss (including loss of revenue, profits, contracts, anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, data or goodwill) or any other loss or damage which does not result directly from Our actions.
5.3 Nothing in these booking terms and conditions excludes Our liability to You for personal injury or death caused by Our negligence.

6. Data Protection
6.1 By entering into this agreement, You agree that any personal information provided by You or collected about You in connection with the Event may be held and used by Us in relation to the Event and its promotion and future events We may hold.
6.2 We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely. More details can be found by visiting https://ometria.com/privacy-policy
6.3 You agree to inform Ometria of any changes to the information supplied in Your original application as soon as such changes occur.

Definitions:
“the Event” means Lifecycle23 New York.
“Media Partners” means photographers and film and/or video makers engaged by Us to record the Event.
“Ometria/We/Us/Our” means Ometria Ltd, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales under company number 08372083 whose registered office is at Acre House, 11/15 William Road, London, NW1 3ER
“You/Your/Yourself” means the person agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and who is attending the Event.
